How to Create a Bootable USB Device Under Windows XP |

- Download the Masterkey Linux USB ZIP file (masterkey-linux-0.1.zip) and save it to your storage media (hard disk, USB stick, etc) ;
- Unzip the ZIP file using your favourte decompression tool (WinRAR in this example);
3. Extract everything to your USB drive (G:\ in this example).
4. Check if you get all the folders and files in your USB drive: 5. Now launch the command line prompt by click Start-> Run and type cmd in box and press OK. 6. Change to your USB drive by typing the drive's label, say G: in this example. Once in the USB drive, then change to the boot folder and run the USB boot installer by typing the following command lines: cd boot bootinst.bat as shown in the screenshot below: 7. The Masterkey Linux boot installer starts as follows: 8. Press key to continue, and your USB device should be bootable once completed. 9. Assume your computer can be configured to boot from USB devices,to boot from the USB device, just insert it into one of the USB ports of your own computer, configure your computer's BIOS setting and boot your computer from the USB device. 10.
